Locating in InfoLab21

InfoLab21 is Lancaster University's world-class research, development and business centre in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

We welcome both local and international technology based companies that have the ability to grow through access to cutting-edge research.

Our resident businesses range from University spin-out companies from the Computing and Communications Systems departments based here in InfoLab21, to international companies like RuggedCom from Canada.

The University has particular strengths in ICT and has a long and successful history of working with international ICT companies including major telecommunications network operators, equipment manufacturers and software providers such as Microsoft, BT Labs, Orange, Cisco, Nokia and Ford.

The University has also won a Queen’s Award For Enterprise for creating the largest regional rural broadband network for education in Europe.

We hope the information in this section of the site will provide you with everything you need about moving to InfoLab21. Please contact Steve Riches (steve.riches@lancaster.ac.uk) if you have any particular requirements or questions on InfoLab21 business Incubation facilities not covered in our FAQs section.
