My role at InfoLab21 is primarily concerned with creating two-way and mutually beneficial relationships between regional businesses and the academic community at Infolab21. Prior to starting at the University, I worked at a North West ICT Solution Provider developing my role from Technical Sales Advisor to UK Business Manager.

At InfoLab21 my role is to look at fostering relationships with businesses across the region; this includes SME's and Multinationals. I am keen to utilise InfoLab21 as a platform for Knowledge and Technology Transfer between the University and the wider business community drawing on the expertise that is based within the two academic departments. Prior to InfoLab21 I worked in a technology focussed solution provider as the sales manager.

I manage the promotion of the knowledge transfer facilities and activities of InfoLab21, in collaboration with its departments, through a strategic and creative approach. I am keen to embrace new technologies and develop new ways of knowledge transfer, which are reflected throughout our website, e-newsletters and demonstrator films. I have over 5 years experience of marketing knowledge transfer services and prior to working at the University I was a consultant for the National Trust.

Sarah Maginness

I assist in the marketing of InfoLab21's services and am responsible for updating the InfoLab21 website and writing and sending out our e-newletters (which you can subscribe to by emailing me). I have a background in Online Journalism and Web Design plus several years experience in administration.
