As Director of the Knowledge Business Centre, my specific remit is to maximise InfoLab21’s regional impact and provide the industrial linkages for engagement with InfoLab21’s academic departments. Having created the InfoLab21 Graduate Academy and a robust delivery infrastructure to support regional businesses with ICT expertise I am also currently actively involved in implementing a coherent process to take research opportunities and spin-outs through to commercialisation.

I have worked at Lancaster University for over 5 years in an administrative capacity. As Departmental Administrator for the Knowledge Business Centre, one of my main responsibilities is to manage the re-location of companies to InfoLab21 and the Lancaster Environment Centre, helping each company settle in and ensuring everything meets their requirements. I also manage the department’s finances and general administration, including InfoLab21 conference and boardroom bookings for partner organizations, resident and InfoLab21 Associate Companies.
