Michael Mead
Graduate Project Assistant 2006-2008.
Michael left the IGA in May 2008 to go travelling. He will return home later in the year to continue his career.
He said;
"My recent employment at the IGA has hugely furthered my personal development. After leaving university my skills were spread across a range of IT subjects giving me a good grounding in all areas. The result was that my research and analytical skills were far stronger than other areas. The KBC environment however has allowed me to expand all of my skills giving me more in depth knowledge and experience in areas such as systems development, networking, database construction and web applications.
"The highlight of my employment with the IGA is the project management aspect. As well as having to employ IT skills the nature of the job means that I manage each client and the project personally. This has helped me to employ the skills learnt in my project management training as well as furthering my inter-personal skills!"
