ICT Focus
ICT Focus, the education and training unit within InfoLab21, offers a range of advanced technical training courses in applications development and in systems and network administration.
Programmes delivered range from Microsoft and Cisco certified courses, through to vocationally-oriented Lancaster University accredited courses or bespoke courses for industry.

ICT Focus aims to help people realise the potential of their use of technology within their organisations and to provide affordable high-quality advanced IT training for industry.
Our Staff
Teaching staff in ICT Focus have in-depth technical knowledge and a wealth of practical experience, which they use not only to enhance people's technical expertise but also to share best practice and discuss the potential impact of emerging technologies on their businesses in order to assist businesses to retain their competitive edge.
Our Clients
The department works closely with IT Professionals in schools and colleges and with local councils, SMEs or IT teams from larger organisations. While the majority of course attendees live or work in the Northwest, people have travelled from all over the UK - and even from as far as Austria!
Staff in ICT Focus work closely with the University's Knowledge Business Centre, with local Business Links, and the Lancaster ICT Cluster.
Our Rates
ICT Focus course rates are highly competitive as we are a not-for-profit organization. The unit works with IT professionals to deliver the skills and knowledge needed within the industry and this is reflected in the high degree of work-based learning within their University Certificates and the Foundation Degree programmes.
