Following ongoing demand from our Associate Companies, InfoLab21 is launching an interactive JobShop which is aimed directly at ICT based students and graduates at Lancaster University and digital companies in the Northwest.  The ICT JobShop aims to help Lancaster ICT students and employers find each other for part-time work, project work, vacation work and graduate positions.

BT Chooses InfoLab21 Company Escendency

BT Group have chosen Escendency's web-based SMART System to monitor, manage and report all BT's activities regarding the environment, climate change, sustainability and corporate social responsibility operations globally.

InfoLab21 Company Helps Prevent Illegal File-Sharing

Isis Forensics, a Lancaster University spin out company based in InfoLab21, has developed a tool to help businesses clamp down on illegal file sharing. Businesses can face serious consequences from illegal file sharing which takes place on their network whether the files contain confidential client data or copyrighted material such as music downloads. But many companies appear to be powerless to stop it.

University Receives Bronze SWAN Award

Lancaster University has received a Bronze SWAN Award in recognition of work to encourage the employment and career progression of women employed in Science, Engineering and Technology (SET).

Project Management Course With CETAD

A Project Management programme is starting on 14 October with CETAD (Centre for Training and Development at Lancaster University).  This lively, interactive, introductory modular course will deliver skills and techniques for those managing or aspiring to be involved in projects.  Applicants holding high level or specialist qualifications in other disciplines will find this programme useful to provide a basic framework within which to apply their specialist skills.  Email cetad@lancaster.ac.uk for more details.

£40,000 Boost For SMEs With Big Ideas On Climate Change
