InfoLab21 Researchers Win Global Competition
InfoLab21 researchers Robert Hardy and Enrico Rukzio came third in the research track of the NFC Forum Global Competition and received a cash price of £1000.
The MyState system they developed in the context of the Multitag project, funded by DOCOMO Euro-Labs, allows the simple and quick posting of Facebook messages that are attached to everyday objects.
MyState allows users to create interactive environments by placing NFC tags on objects and create individual, personalized applications. For example, individuals can use MyState to retrace their steps, view their activity history, synchronize activities, express their emotional state, play games, and track shared items.
