Got A Business Idea? Try The Beermat Challenge!
Got an idea for a new product or service? Have an idea about how to improve campus or your student experience at Lancaster University? Then why not jot it down and enter the Lancaster University beermat challenge.
The beermat challenge will give students and staff the chance to win an Xbox, notebook or digital camera by submitting an idea and promoting it to get as many votes as possible.
The ideas with the most votes win the prizes. Prizes will be given for the most votes after weeks 2, 4 with the grand final finishing on Friday the 19th November (Week 6).
The beermat challenge is part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010, a worldwide movement encouraging people from all walks of life to be enterprising in all that they do. The University's jam-packed programme of events will help equip students with the confidence and know-how to set up their own business, but also help them develop skills that will make them stand out in the job market.
