InfoLab21 Business Woman in Top 100 Mumpreneurs
Mum and business woman Sarah Cooper, founder of resident company Black Zest Solutions, has been listed in the top 100 mumpreneurs of 2011.
From thousands of entries the list had been whittled down to the top 100 and Sarah has been selected to receive this prestigious acknowledgment alongside other hard working mums in the UK.
Having been shortlisted for a number of local awards over the past year, Black Zest Solutions has also managed to scoop an award for Student Enterprise of the Year, awarded by Lancaster University in collaboration with Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Sarah has also supported local students by offering a free workshop at the University and mentoring students through the coffee with an entrepreneur event at LUSU Involve. Jon Powell, Enterprise Champion and Enterprise Team Manager at Lancaster University commented,
"Sarah has been an indispensable asset, giving our students and graduates invaluable advice and guidance both in terms of inspiring them to set up their own business but specifically on how they can promote their business using social media and emerging technologies."
Black Zest Solutions is a marketing and design agency, based at InfoLab21.
Sarah has already had a busy start to the year helping local businesses with free training courses. The last one at the beginning of the month "How Marketing has changed - A new world" was a great success and helped local business to network with each other and learn about the new digital technologies available.
Sarah will be holding another free course next month "How to use email marketing successfully", on 23rd February at InfoLab21. To find out more or to book on the course contact Sarah Cooper on 01524 510495(sarah@blackzestsolutions.co.uk) or visit www.blackzestsolutions.co.uk
