Ambassadors Wanted!
Science and Engineering Ambassadors (SEAs) are enthusiastic volunteers who want to share their specialist knowledge of science, engineering, technology or maths with schools. SETPOINT Lancashire is currently recruiting SEAs to support a new an exciting Design and Technology programme. Young Foresight allows students to work in teams to design products and services for the future using new and emerging technologies.
As a Young Foresight Ambassador you will:
- Use your professional experience to help students design for the future
- Be willing to communicate with teachers and students
- Be a good listener so that you can encourage students to develop their ideas
- Make visits to the school during the project (commitment to be agreed between school and SEA)
