Computing Department to 'simplify' the deployment and use of Mobile Services
Researchers led by Dr. Adrian Friday and Prof. Nigel Davies are beginning a new 30 month EU Framework 6 project which aims to streamline the authoring, deployment, discovery and use of Internet services on the move, with a particular focus on the mobile software architecture.
The project, worth 2.9M euro, is an industrial/academic collaboration involving twelve partners including Telecom Italia, France Telecom, ICCS, LMU, Siemens, and Athens International Airport.
