Collaboration With Norway
InfoLab21's Computing Department hosted a visit by the Simula Research Laboratory, Oslo, Norway this month.
InfoLab21 hopes to collaborate with Simula in from joint research to collaborative projects involving industry on topics like computer communication, resilience and middleware.
The Simula Research Laboratory conducts basic research in the fields of communication technology, scientific computing and software engineering.
The research focuses on fundamental scientific problems with a large potential for important applications in society.
Education will be delivered in partnership with the universities in Norway. Simula will actively support, and create the conditions necessary for, the establishment of businesses based on the research it conducts.
