Design Award For InfoLab21 Building
Story supplied by LU Press Office
InfoLab21 has been chosen as one of the best buildings in the district by a design awards panel.
InfoLab21 was one of five buildings to win a Lancaster Design Award last month. The awards scheme - which is celebrating its 21st Birthday this year - aims to recognise and reward design in the public domain which adds to the area.
More than 70 buildings were nominated by members of the public, a short list was then visited by members of the panel.
Mayor of Lancaster Coun. Helen Helme presented the awards to the five winners and seven runners up in a ceremony at Lancaster Town Hall in October.
