International Council for Small Business - World Conference

The International Council for Small Business (ICSB) are calling for submissions for the 2008 world conference.

The theme of the conference is "Advancing Small Business and Entrepreneurship: From Research to Results". A key aim of the conference is to bridge the gap between research and action.

Submissions can be made for academic papers and workshops. The Abstract deadline is 18 January 2008.

The ICSB integrates the activities of diverse organizations and professionals who deal directly with small business and is the leading global membership organization for those interested in the theory and practice of entrepreneurship.

The conference is aimed at researchers, educators, policy makers, business service providers, students or business owners engaged in or interested in small business and entrepreneurship.

It will be the 53rd International Council for Small Business (ICSB) World Conference, and will be held on 22-25 June 2008 at the World Trade and Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
