Personal Information:
Having gained a first class degree in Computer Animation and Special Effects I decided I wanted to pursue a career in a more technical area. This led me to Teesside University where I gained a distinction in Graphical Technology Applications. My dissertation for this course involved researching and programming a skin simulation application for the School of Health and Social Care. I have since worked as a programmer at Eutechnyx, an independent developer of driving games based in Gateshead. I am looking to apply the skills I have gained in my education and work experience to a career which will directly benefit businesses and individuals. I am keen to develop my existing skills and to learn new ones.
The IGA has provided me with a valuable opportunity to develop my existing IT skills while developing new ones to a high level. The support and encouragement I have received from my colleagues has been exceptional. During my time here I have learned a great deal about web development which enable me to secure a job working for a web development company called GradWeb, delivering solutions to multiple well known clients. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and feel that my experiences have undoubtedly helped me to further my career.
